Free Municipal ambulance for Matara ratepayers

There is good news for ratepayers of the Matara Municipal council. The Matara Municipal Council in collaboration with the General Hospital will operate an ambulance service for them. And the best news is that this service is free of charge and would be on call 24 hours, seven days a week.

Here Mayor of Matara Sosindra Hadunge sees deputy director of the General Hospital, Matara Dr. Ravindra Weerasekera and medical crew off in the new ambulance at a ceremony held at Uyanwatta yesterday.
