The board has proposed a 1st and Final dividend of Rs. 0.50 per

This is the first time a dividend has been proposed by the company
since 2004.
"Our eco-friendly outlook is characterised by our investments towards
enhancing the hotel's reputation as a green destination, among which are
a wood gasifier, a mini hydropower project and the installation of
energy-saving lamps.
These go well with our picturesque location amidst the natural beauty
all around", said the Chairman.
Since the takeover of majority ownership of Hunas Falls Hotel by the
Hayleys Group, a concerted effort has been made to upgrade the hotel and
enhance its value so as to generate more revenue.
"The management of the hotel has been given over to Amaya Leisure, a
member of the Hayleys Group and a hospitality management company and the
results are already evident in the higher turnove.
The extensive refurbishment program it has undertaken will ensure
that its true potential will be realised very soon. Every effort is
being made by the management so that sustainable development will
improve the property, whilst safeguarding the environment", the chairman
