Earl's Court Group opens Stone House Lodge

Earl's Regency Hotel Management Group will launch Stone House Lodge, Kandy.The Group own Earl's Regency Hotel in Kandy.

It began to expand its presence in the hospitality industry in 2012 focusing on the Kandy region in view of facilitating the need for quality accommodation options within the area.

"The product has its uniqueness and class", said Head of Sales and Group Business Development, Subanu Perera. "It was once a nearly abandoned guest house with basic facilities and we have spent time more than funds to bring it on to an operational boutique property", Perera said. "We position this property as a luxury boutique hotel which offers a very personalised service, facilities and meals for a traveller.

We have been very careful in planning all aspects," he said. "Staff recruitment was one area where we handpicked certain individuals with a proven track record. Importantly we looked at individuals who were capable of innovating the traditional outlook of the hospitality industry in Sri Lanka.
