Close battle for top honours continue
OBSERVER-MOBITEL AWARDS: Sajeeva Salgado and his teammate Ashan
Wanigaratne of Thurstan College is in a close tussle for supremacy for
the top spot with Salgado in the lead with 168 votes while Kavindu Ashan
of Royal College, Panadura took a 447 vote majority over Angelo
Jayasinghe of Maris Stella, College, Negombo,
who topped the list last week at the end of Count Number 17 in the
Sunday Observer/Mobitel Most Popular Schoolboy Cricketer of the Year
2012 - All Island and Outstation Contest respectively.
