Thurstan College swimming team receives the overall boys
President Mahinda Rajapaksa All Island Inter-School Swimming
Championship Trophy from the chief guest Thurstan old boy

Y.M.D.P. Yapa and Meet Chairman Mahendra Wijethunga were
also present.

Thurstan College emerged overall boys champions collecting 417 points
at the Inter-School Swimming Championship held at the Thurstan Swimming
Pool. In second place was Nalanda with 335 points.
Among the girls, Anula Vidyalaya came on top for the second
successive year getting 459 points with St. Joseph's Girls School came
second with 141 points.
In the events for senior boys, Thurstan came on top with 210 points
and Anula Vidyalaya girls came on top in the Senior Girls Championship
with 209 points.
