Wesley College re-union - batch of '68/72

DOWN MEMORY LANE...... Unique Walk Down Memory Lane encompassing 50 years of Friendship at Wesley College, Colombo has been arranged for 15th September 2012 by the Wesley College - Batch of '68/72.

The aim of this re-union is to relive fond memories of the college/further cement 50 years of friendship/meet and greet after 30/40 years and the objective of this re-union is to make a generous donation towards the refurbishment of the College Hall.

It is estimated to cost about Rupees Five Million and which has withstood the time of 138 years.

The novelty of this re-union is that after nearly 50 years, the Old Boys will relive a Day-In-College complete with the school uniform of white shirt/blue shorts, Assembly with College Principal/Vice Principal/Chaplain/ available Members of Staff of that era/Interval with Tuck Shop, veralu/annasi and kadalay vendors, swim followed by typical Hostel Lunch.

The evening session with their spouses/families at the Old Wesleyites Sports Club will be a Gala Dinner with music/prizes/surprises galore.

The Evening Entertainment will conclude with the Presentation to the College Principal towards the Refurbishment of the College Hall followed by a spectacular Fireworks Display.
