Sampath Mahesh 87 not out

Former Cambrian Sampath Mahesh was unbeaten with 87 runs in their drawn game for Lankan Cricket Club against Anthonian Sports club in their inter-club division two under-23 cricket match worked off at Surrey Grounds, Maggona.

Taking the first lease Lankan C.C. were 284 for 9 and in reply Anthonians were 176 for 8. Jayanga Peiris claimed 4 for 51 for Lankan Cricket Club.

Lankan C.C.: 284/9 - Sampath Mahesh 87 n/o, Harinda Madushan 49, Shenal Amerasinghe 31, T. Kariyawasam 32, Thamil Gayan 2/26, Sadeem Tafiq 2/54.

Anthonian S.C: 176/8 - Sadeem Tafiq 33, Tamil Gayan 34, Sonal Dulshan 22 n/o, Jayanga Peiris 4/51.
