Hush Puppies in Colombo

There was an array of luxury shoes, sandles and slippers for fashion conscious men and women, displayed at the newly opened Hush Puppies showroom at Galle Road Colombo 3 last week.

The shoes were designer label brand well known internationally such as Hush Puppies that come at a price for those who seek quality shoes to add to their collection.

The spokeswoman said the company had been importing designer shoes since 2006.

The Hush Puppies launch was graced by popular cinema actresses Sangeetha Weeraratne and Sriyani Amarasena.

Others included the twelve finalists of the Miss Sri Lanka contest. The company directors Thanuja de Silva and Rasika Madugalle were present. Hush Puppies was introduced to USA in October 1957 and by mid 1957 the company produced one million pairs of shoes.
