Union Assurance (UA) introduced a unique pricing formula for their motor insurance 'Union Motor Star' which allows certain categories of vehicles to enjoy an unbeatable price for insurance. Vehicles above the value of Rs. 3m enjoy this privilege in general, though certain makes and models also have an unbelievably low premium when compared with prices.

Union Motor Star offers an unmatched service through their quick claims settlement process called 'Speed Cash', where customers are able to collect their claim payments with a PIN code sent via SMS. Claims can be collected from any Commercial Bank branch islandwide and requires no after-repair inspection.
