3M holds workshop

3M Sri Lanka hosted it seventh Volition Integration Professionals (VIP) Installer certification program to key customers and business partners recently to boost the IT sector in the country. The three day workshop saw 61 participants from 30 corporate and government institutions converge to experience hands-on training on premise cabling.

APAC Application Development Engineer in the Communication Markets Division Chansool Park trained the participants, which included an overview of structured cabling, international standards, design concepts, intelligent pair management concepts, estimation, splicing and termination methods, testing, validation, site certification and its warranty procedures.
