NCCSL briefs Health Minister on Arogya 2012
A delegation headed by President of the National Chamber of Commerce
of Sri Lanka (NCCSL) Asoka Hettigoda met Minister of Health Maithripala
Sirisena at the Ministry recently to brief him on the progress of
'Arogya 2012', the international healthcare exhibition and symposium
organised by the NCCSL and the Ministry of Health.
Hettigoda said of the 160 stalls, around 140 have already been
reserved by public and private sector organisations in the healthcare
sector.
Nawaloka Hospital, Asiri Hospital PLC, Ninewells Hospital, Lanka
Hospital, Oasis Hospital, Delmon Hospital and many medical- related
products and services providers have reserved stalls. Argoya 2012 will
be held from August 17-19 at the BMICH Colombo. Projects introduced to
combat communicable diseases, the country's success in heart and kidney
transplants and other important health-related activities will also be
exhibited by specialised units.
