Matara Division beat Police Headquarters by 128 runs

CRICKET: Matara Division led by SI Dinesh Sampath beat Police Headquarters by 128 runs in the Police Inter-Division cricket tournament match played at the Police Training grounds, Kalutara.

Batting first Matara Division team made 186 runs off 39 overs while Police Headquarters made 58 runs in 19 overs.

MATARA DIVISION: 186 runs in 39 overs (Dilan Sampath 39, Buddhika Chathuranga 36, P. Manjula 35, S. Withanage 3 for 15, T. Suresh 3 for 35, L. Rangana 3 for 53).

POLICE HEADQUARTERS: 58 in 19 overs (R. Pathirana 17, Dilip Prasad 5 for 23, Anushika Ramanayaka 3 for 22, Aleric Kariyawasam 2 for 2).
