Sports Medicine Conference a success

Over five hundred delegates from Sri Lanka and abroad are expected to participate at the first-ever International Sports Medicine Conference 2012 Sri Lanka organised by the Sports Medicine Association of Sri Lanka in association with the Ministry of Sports and the National Olympic Committee of Sri Lanka ends today at the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute, Independence Avenue, Colombo.

The main topics that were discussed were, Sports Screening, Physical Activity and Health Promotion, Sports and Exercise Physiology, Sports Nio-Mechanics, Sports Psychology, Sports Specific Illnesses and Injury, Sports Rehabilitation, Women and Sports, Doping in Sports and Anti Doping Measures, Nutrients, and Ergogenic Aids, Sports Equipment and Technology.
