APFASL to enhance professional skills

The Institute of Public Finance and Development Accountancy (IPFDA) has joined hands with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) and set up the Association of Public Finance Accountants of Sri Lanka (APFASL) as the public sector wing of CA Sri Lanka to enhance the professional skills and expertise of public sector accountants, auditors and assessors to improve financial management practices.

Members of the Sri Lanka Accountants Service, Superintendents of Audit of Class II, Grade II or above of the Sri Lanka Audit Service, assessors Class II, Grade II or above of the Inland Revenue Service with two years experience are eligible to obtain the membership of the APFASL.
