LMFPA re-elects Channa Jayatilleke

The Lanka Microfinance Practitioners' Association (LMFPA) held its sixth Annual General Meeting on September 28 at the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute. Channa Jayatilleke the current president was unanimously re-elected for another term.

Jayatilleke serves on the Boards of leading organisations and committees. He counts over 25 years experience in the financial field, specialising in financial strategies, corporate treasuries, and marketing in Sri Lanka and overseas.

LMFPA serves as the apex body for microfinance practitioners of Sri Lanka.

"Since its inception in 2006, the network has been involved in building the capacities of its member organisations which has increased to over 75 by 2012", a spokesman for the Association said.
