Citizen's handbook

The Transparency International Sri Lanka has initiated a program to issue a citizen's handbook as a guide to obtain the maximum services from the Divisional Secretaries in Sri Lanka.

This has been done mainly with the object of eradicating corruption and bribery in the country and to strengthen the good governance.

The contact telephone numbers of all Heads of Departments, Ministries, Corporations and Statuary Boards etc. have also been included in this brochure.The Transparency International Sri Lanka has conducted several programs in the various Divisional Secretariat areas of Sri Lanka pertaining to eradicating bribery and corruption at all levels of administration and to strengthen good governance in the country.

It is therefore possible now to bring about a good rapport between the Government Officials and the members of the public. It is also aimed at creating a civil society with honesty and dedicated service coupled with duty conscious and efficient Govt. Officials.
