Skipper Kusal Mendis is in fine form and hit up a scintillating unbeaten
103 runs which included ten fours and three sixes enabled Cambrians to
declare their second innings for 184 for 4 and gave Melinda College a
target of 174 runs for an outright victory and at the close homesters
were 118 for 4 with Nirwantha Thikshila unbeaten on 58 runs. Suchira
Fernando contributed 25 runs and had an opening stand of 47 with Kusal
Mendis.
However Mahinda got the edge of Cambrians and gained a first innings
win by eleven runs and match was worked off at Galle.
