Gift from Korea .... The Korean Government donated Judo and Taekwondo sports equipment to Sri Lanka under the U.S. Dollars 20,000,000 Korean Sports Assistance Project for 25 countries targeting the Asian Championships 2014. Following the official handing over ceremony by the Korean Ambassador Jongmoon Choi to Minister of Sports Mahindananda Aluthgamage at the National Olympic Committee meeting, Minister Aluthgamage handed over the sports equipment to the officials of the Taekwondo Association. Secretary of the National Olympic Committee Maxwell de Silva also participated at the occasion.
