PBSS to focus on Middle East market

With plans to further diversify the market by focusing on the Middle East, Perfect Business Solutions Services (Pvt) Ltd (PBSS) will strengthen its presence in strategic locations in the region.

"The consumer market of the country which is growing at a rapid pace and introducing innovative products and services at regular intervals has expanded the base further, PBSS Managing Director, Madura Gamanayake told Sunday Observer Business.

"It is important to improve network systems by introducing novel processes and we are confident that customer satisfaction could be derived through the latest products on offer. We have our own product range and are the authorised business partners for many products and services.

The Sage Evolution ERP system introduced to the local market will be a step towards building a customer base and confidence," he said.

"We were in partnership with Sage Peachtree of USA since 2004. We are now in a position to offer a wide product range to consumers. The knowledge, confidence and industry expertise that comes with Sage is beneficial for us and our customers," he said.

(PBSS) has also received an ISO certification and this has added value to its commitment to customers. The company was set up 10 years ago as a limited liability entity dealing in advanced information solutions for business enterprises in the fields of finance management, supply chain management, customer relationship management, retail, hospitality, business intelligence and IT infrastructure. It has offices in Colombo, Kuwait, USA, Maldives and Australia.

"We consider this as an important milestone in our journey and the dedicated team of 40 employees has been an asset to the company.

Our first international deal was with Saudi Arabia in 2006. We now have a sales office in the USA.

We provide Sage Evolution ERP solutions to the Sri Lankan market. We set up our first international branch in Maldives in 2008 as a 100 percent Sri Lankan owned company," Gamanayake said.

"With the opening of the second international branch in Kuwait in 2011, PBSS is set to expand its presence in strategic locations globally. The company operates in the Maldives, Middle East and USA at present.

The PBSS caters to small scale businesses by providing HRM solutions, hardware, networking and customercare to provide total solutions.

The company has experienced and qualified engineers in software development. The staff is provided training to upgrade their skills. It is the only Sage platinum partner for South East Asia. It has 350 customer bases worldwide, a spokesman for the company said.
