A Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry of External Affairs of Sri Lanka and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Cooperation of Burkina Faso was signed in Colombo last week. On behalf of the Government of Sri Lanka, Minister of External Affairs Prof. G.L. Peiris(R) and on behalf of the Government of Burkina Faso, Djibrill Yipéné Bassole, Senior Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Cooperation signed the Memorandum.

“The Automobile Association of Ceylon (AAC) headquarters building new southern wing extension was opened recently by Minister of Civil Aviation Priyankara Jayaratne. were present at the occasion.

The annual New Year celebration of the Presidential Secretariat staff was held at the Bambalapitiya Police Grounds yesterday.
