Kandy Cricket Club beat Old Moratu Vidyalians' Sports Club by six wickets in their inter Club Under-23 tournament cricket match worked off at Moratuwa.

Resuming at 225 for 7 on day two visitors were all out for 248 runs with Harsha Salgado capturing 4 for 80 and in their second essay homesters were all out for 178 with Thilan Kavishka and Pathum Madura scoring 30 and 39 runs.

Charith Udaraka took 6 for 65 to finish with a match bag of 11 for 125 runs.

Set to make 96 runs for an outright win, the visitors made 96 for 4 with Ruwantha Ekanayake scoring 36 and C.M.W. Vithana bagging 3 for 26.
