Trinity and DSS clash in the curtain-raiser

Trinity College, Kandy the ‘A’ Division league schools rugby runners-up will lock horns with the runners up of the ‘B’ Division D.S. Senanayake College in the opening match of the Schools President’s Trophy knock out rugby competition starting on July 2nd at the Royal College Sports Complex grounds.

Isipathana College who did not have an ideal start at the tournament as they usually do came back fighting late in the season, but was unable to secure a place in the first eight. Like wise St. Anthony’s College, Katugasthota and Kingswood College Kandy two former winners of the trophy also suffered the same fate.

The draw. ‘A’ Division knock out. All matches will be played at the Royal College Sports Complex grounds, Stanley Wijesundera Mawatha. Colombo 7.
