Crushing apathy - the first step to achieve goals
The success myth of our culture is an evil one.
We are told that “the freedom to do nothing” is the reward provided
by great wealth. This concept is not right. Of course, leisure feels
good when you are weary from acute work. Leisure is restorative,
allowing you to return to your normal self with renewed intensity.
The impact of corporations on our lives
The true progenitors of modern corporations
emerged as the “chartered company” during the time of the colonial
expansion in the 17th century. Of the 100 largest economies in the
world today, 41 are corporations, not countries. Their enormous
wealth carries immense impact on our lives.

The new face of obesity
It’s 'official' at last. Obesity has been
recognised as a disease by the American Medical Association (AMA).
The decision has become a controversial topic, with many in the
medical professional and outside it claiming obesity is not a
disease. Most are comfortable describing obesity as a ‘condition’ or
‘disorder’, saying it is only a risk factor for other diseases.
