Kollupitiya, decided to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of the church
when the Chief Celebrant Rev. Dr. Joseph Spiteri Apostolic Nuncio
for Sri Lanka, promulgated the Jubilee Year 2012-2013 from the
declaration scroll presented to him on the Feast Day of June 24,

The origin of philosophy shrouded in mystery
The problems of life have a seriousness about
them that it is not always associated with wonder. Confucius was
made to reflect by the chaos and confusion that prevailed in China
of the time. Such chaos was not a cause of wonder but of pain. The
Upanisadic thinkers were certainly not impressed by the defects and
