Gurukula Vidyalaya, Kelaniya beat Basilica College, Ragama by nine
wickets in their Inter-School Under-15 Division I tournament cricket
match conducted by SLSA and played at Ragama Homesters batting first
collapsed for 77 runs with Kesara Nimasha and Sagara Danushka capturing
4 for 17 and 4 for 22 respectively.
In reply Gurukula passed the Basilica total with ease and they were
80 for 1 with Lasindu Arosha scoring and unbeaten 51 runs.
Basilica College: 77 in 22.1 overs (Adeesha Welikala 17, Dinusha
Dilshan 2 for 20, Kesara Nimasha 4 for 17, Sagara Danushka 4 for 22).
Gurukula Vidyalaya: 80 for 1 in 7.4 overs (Lasindu Arosha 51 not out,
Pruthivi Kesara 11). |
