Economic Summit from July 9 - 11

The Sri Lanka Economic Summit, organised by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, will be held from July 9-11 at the Cinnamon Grand. The summit will be a platform to gain a comprehensive understanding of the county's economy, the investment climate and the diverse opportunities for investors and businessmen.

The final session of the summit will be held on July 11 under the theme 'Challenges to Re-balancing the Economy' that will bring together former and present parliamentarians representing different political parties to express their views on how best to address the issues brought out at the previous sessions and other important current issues and discuss the way forward.

The panel discussion will be moderated by Chairman, Copyline Group and Apex Consultancy Services (Pvt) Ltd, Mano Tittawala. The panel comprises Deputy Speaker and Chairman of Committees, Chandima Weerakkody, Deputy Minister of Investment Promotion, Faiszer Mustapha, MPs Dayasiri Jayasekera, Harsha de Silva, M. A. Sumanthiran, and former Parliamentarian Wasantha Samarasinghe.
