Mobitel to support Mahindodaya Scholarship Fund
Sri Lanka Telecom Mobitel recently signed an agreement with the
Ministry of Education to support the Mahindodaya Scholarship Program.

"The Vidunena eLearning curriculum where students and teachers gain
access to interactive educational video content is one of the most
advanced programs introduced to support the education system," a
spokesman for the company said.
"The iCard project introduced recently works on the latest NFC
technology. It not only provides security to students, but also helps in
a cashless payment methodology and efficient and productive
administration of schools. In addition, the long term partnerships with
the Universities of Colombo and Kelaniya to spearhead projects such as
internships, research laboratories, project management curricula and the
introduction of the Master of Business course through m-Learning further
re-enforces Mobitel's commitment to uplift the education sector through
ICT," he said. |
