Livestock farming to be revived in Kalutara

Livestock farmers in the Western Province will be felicitated soon by the Western Province Livestock Development Board (LSDB).

Awards will be presented to encourage and induce them to use modern scientific technology. Over 8,800 farmers engaged in livestock farming in the Kalutara district are being made aware of this program.

They will also be sent abroad for further training in livestock farming said Kalutara District Livestock Development Officer, Dr. B.R.A. Abeywickrama.
