Sasana and Religious Affairs M.K.A.D.S. Gunawardana edited
by the Buddhist Development Foundation by the co-editors,
Lokubandara Munasinghe and Chandrasiri Weligamage was
presented to President Mahinda Rajapaksa at “President’s
House”, Anuradhapura on Poson Poya day. S.M. Ranjith

Minister W.D.J. Seneviratne carries the Relics of the Buddha
to be laid at the Siri Visuddharama Maha Piriven Vihara,
Muwagama, Ratnapura on Poson Poya day.
Fisheries and Aquatic Resources
Development Minister Dr. Rajitha Senaratne opened the new
housing scheme of 100 houses constructed at Poliveriyan,
Sainthamaruthu at a cost of Rs. 60 million recently. Here

Construction, Engineering Services,
Housing and Common Amenities Minister Wimal Weerawansa
presented travelling bags and mobile telephones to Grama
Niladaries in 57 GS divisions in the Kaduwela electorate
recently. The venue was the Kaduwela Divisional Secretariat.

A ceremony to present 2,500 Buddha
statutes to people in the Kotmale electorate was held
recently under the patronage of Minister of Public
Management Reforms, Navin Dissanayake at the Sri Deeparama
Temple, Kothmale. Here the Minister presents a statue to a
