BoC offers a host of benefits to Current Account holders
The Bank of Ceylon's (BoC) Current Account has a range of benefits to
manage day-to-day transactions either personal or business. It
facilitates the agricultural, business, professional and industrial
needs of current account holders. BoC customers could operate their
current accounts around the clock from anywhere; any time of the day
through BoC internet banking, mobile banking and the ATM network. BoC
current accounts are linked with a network of 613 branches covering all
parts of the country. The Bank provides several benefits for current
account holders such as one-day cheque book issuance, instant BoC cheque
clearance facility from any BoC branch and free clearance of cheques
from any bank.
It also allows the transfer of funds through standing orders and the
payment of utility bills (water, electricity and telephone bills)
through the current account. Customers also receive a personalised
cheque book.
The BoC Prestige Plus Professional Current Account, exclusively for
demanding professionals and busy executives, offers a host of convenient
features and benefits to suit their lifestyles.
Employed or self-employed professionals (doctors, engineers, lawyers,
architects, accountants and university lecturers) or executives in
reputed private organisations and companies or staff officers of
Government or semi-Government organisations with a monthly gross income
over Rs. 40,000 are eligible to open Prestige Plus current accounts.
A tailor-made benefit package is availble for Prestige Plus current
account holders. They could obtain a BoC credit card with no joining fee
with a minimum credit limit of Rs 100,000 and a debit card to withdraw
up to Rs 100,000 per day from any BoC ATM.
Current account holders can obtain loans to build homes or for their
personal needs and leasing facilities at attractive rates to purchase
vehicles.
They will also receive special concessions through BoC Travels. In
addition a range of services are available for current account holders.
BoC facilitates weekend banking and night banking at selected branches
and 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year, banking service at the Head
Office. Current account holders could access over 500 ATMs islandwide
and the 24-hour Call centre services.
