Pegasus Reef Hotel refurbished

The Pegasus Reef Hotel recently completed a three-month refurbishment project, with an investment of Rs. 60 million which included new fabric wall paper, new carpeting, a state-of-the-art lighting system and modern chandeliers. A new sound proof partition enables the hotel ballroom to be divided into two sections.

Situated on the west coast, north of Colombo, overlooking the Colombo harbour, the hotel was Sri Lanka's first four-star hotel at Hendala, Wattala, between Colombo and the Katunayake International Airport.

"The location, the star-class facilities and the friendly and helpful staff make the Pegasus Reef Hotel a good venue for MICE programs, weddings and honeymooning", a spokesman for the hotel said.

Carson Camberbatch Hotels Director, P.M. Withana said that following the refurbishment of its banquet halls around 850 guests could be accommodated.
