Workshop for rubber planters

Sri Lanka Rubber Research Institute has taken steps to provide training to planters on all stages of rubber planting. A series of workshops will be held in the rubber producing areas in the island.

The workshops will be organised by the regional officers of the Rubber Development Department. Dr. Priyani Seneviratne of the Sri Lanka Rubber Research Institute said the program was initiated to provide a thorough knowledge on rubber cultivation.
