walk due to Fibular Hemimyelia in his left leg.
The surgery which could be performed by Consultant Orthopaedic
Surgeon of Soundarapandian Bone and Joint Hospital in Chennai, India, is
estimated to cost around Indian Rs. 1,000,000 (SL Rs. 27,000,00).

Consultant Nephrologist of the National Institute of Nephrology,
Colombo, Dr. S.M. Seneviratne has recommended immediate kidney
transplantation.

transplantation.

The latest publications of Right Minds will be launched at the
Sirimavo Bandaranaike Exhibition Centre on September 15 from 11.00 a.m.

Padamakuma P. Mettasena, Bauddha Mano Vidyawa by Vandana Kummarapeli,
Yalui Api Yalui by Niroshani Rajapakse, Lassana Mihiri, Upan Dina
Thegga, Hawai Ibbai by Pushpika Mullakanda will be launched on this day.
Prof. Sanath Nandasiri and Malkanthi Nandarsiri will sing a few
lyrics written by Dr. Ranasinghe.
'Centenary Ball' on Sept 18
The Old Anandian's Centenary Group 24th anniversary dinner dance
"Centenary Ball" will be held on September 18 at the Waters Edge,
Battaramulla, with live music from the 'Gypsis' and 'Blacks'.
The proceeds of the event will be utilised for the "English Language
Proficiency Development Project of the College, launched by the
Centenary Group.
