Futurex construction exhibition from Sept 27-29

Futurex Trade Fair and Events has organised an exhibition of construction materials such as aluminium, glass, windows and doors, and wood, to showcase the latest innovations and technologies of four sectors .

The event will be held from September 27-29 at the BMICH on 'The Fantastic Four in Sri Lanka'.

The exhibition, covering the four sectors will be held simultaneously at the same venue under the titles, 'Sri Lanka Glass International Expo 2013', 'Sri Lanka Windows and Doors International Expo 2013', 'Sri Lanka Aluminium Extrusion International Expo 2013', and 'Sri Lanka Wood Expo 2013'.

Many prominent brands and market leaders in these four sectors, in the local and international market, will take part. It will feature participants from over 20 countries including India, Taiwan, Austria, Germany, Italy and Korea.

The exhibition will showcase the latest innovations and technologies and provide a platform of progress across these industries. It will be an opportunity for specialised trade visitors, knowledgeable professionals and serious business buyers from all over the world to strengthen ties with new customers, make new contacts and catch up on the latest trends and technological developments. Director of Futurex Trade Fair and Events, Namit Gupta said, "Futurex feels that Sri Lanka is ideal to host this event, as it is now a major industry growth destination in Asia. It will be an ideal event for everyone involved in these sectors to interact."

The event will also include seminars and workshops that will provide valuable technical education, making it a complete and useful package to all in the industry from investors, heads of companies, engineers to laymen.

The workshops will be conducted under the topics, 'Doors and Windows', 'Aluminium' and 'Wood Working'. Those who attend will be taught correct cutting, placing, framing, handing, hindrances and techniques when managing these materials.

Gupta said, "The seminars and workshops will be conducted by local and international experts. Futurex invites and encourages those involved in the industry, architects, contractors, fabricators, builders, dealers and distributors and laymen, to be a part of the exhibition, and for businesses in the construction trade to send their employees for the seminars and workshops as there will be much to gain and nothing to lose".
