Mahamaya girls beat Presbyterian

Mahamaya Girls College, Kandy is one school that has taken to sport
activities in a big manner. The girls are well known for netball and now
they are keen in playing cricket too.
Cricket is a very popular game among the boys, but the girls from
Mahamaya also like to try their hand at cricket. The girls started
cricket on a small scale and they have started playing softball cricket.
The Mahamaya girls took on Presbetarian School, Dehiwela and Mahamaya
won the match by 45 runs on the first innings.
Mahamaya, batting first, made 104 with Isuri Alagoda making 52
- the top scorer. Presbeterian School were able to make 59. Mahamaya
