SAEGIS introduces modified courses

Generally, only students with strong economic backgrounds could afford higher education in private institutions. However,

as SAEGIS has a reasonable course fee, even those from middle class families can follow their preferred courses at this institution, said CAO, SAEGIS Campus, Nusith Kumarathunga said.

Information Technology, Business Management and Human Resource Management are the courses available at SAEGIS. A student who starts his course in SAEGIS can go till he graduates.

Kumarathunga said that SAEGIS functions with the approval of Board of Investment (BOI) and receives support from renowned Universities including Colombo and Peradeniya. The students who join SAEGIS Campus will be physically and mentally strengthened and their personality will also be built, he said.

Courses have been modified to supply suitably qualified professionals to the job market. Those who successfully complete studies can obtain jobs either here or abroad at handsome salaries, he said.

SAEGIS has experienced lecturers and professors. To round up students' professional competencies, SAEGIS encourages students to participate in courses supervised by renowned institutions such as the Association of Business Executives and British Computer Society.

To help students to raise their English language skills, a full-fledged program, up to British Council standards, has been designed with well-trained staff.
