Two victories for British school

The British School in Colombo warmed up for the upcoming Inter International Schools Under-15 Cricket Tournament while recording morale boosting victories in two practice matches worked off at the President's College ground in Rajagiriya last week.

Chief scores:

(British School beat Belvoir College by 16 runs). British School: 205-3 (26) (N. Kaluarachchige 85, L. Saugy 58, A. Salman 18 n.o.)

Belvoir College: 189-9 (26) (M. Ashan 64, W. Vinod 3/27, N. Kaluarachchcige 2/30, S. Sanka 2/28) (British School beat Leighton Park International School by 65 runs)

British School: 218-7 (25) (L. Saugy 82, S. Stephan 36, N. Kaluarachchige 24, C. Perera 20, R. Radesh 21 n. o.) Leighton Park International School: 153-8 (25) (S. Firnass 44, N. Kaluarachchige 3/12).
