'Royalists On Stage' on Nov 9

Royalists are about to tantalise Colombo once again with yet another innovative creation.

A different concept, a different plan, unique talent and a truly commendable motive... titele "Royalists On Stage."

This will be a concert that will be remembered as the only one of its kind to be organized by a Sri Lankan school.

Organised by the Prefects' Council of Royal College, "Royalists On Stage" promises to give audiencs with a unique experience, bringing all Royal College alumni in the music industry together.

The event will feature renowned Royalists - Santhush Weeraman, Iraj Weeraratne, Dushyanth Weeraman, Ranidu Lankage, Randhir Witana, Chillie Thilanka, Krishan Maheson, Athula Adhikari, Channa Perera, Rakitha with Naadro, Hiran Thenuwara and Mihindu Ariyaratne.

Bathiya, Umaria, Ashanthi and Glory will also be at the event as valued guest artistes.

The concert will undoubtedly serve as a platform as well as an inspirational initiative for the future generation of musically gifted royalists to showcase and share their talent with the public.

To better demonstrate this, musical items from the Royal College Choir, the Royal College Orchestra as well as performances by students who were selected via a standard audition process will be staged at the event.

The objective behind the project is to raise funds for the renovation of 'Navarangahala', "Royalists On Stage" will be held at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium on Saturday, November 9 from 4.00 p.m. The organisers invite everyone to take a break from your busy schedules, come and enjoy some quality time with good music.
