Smartphone stops bullet during robbery
Police
in Florida said a gas station clerk’s smartphone may have saved his life
when it stopped a bullet fired at his chest during a robbery.
Investigators said a customer at the Hess gas station in Winter
Garden pulled out a revolver on Monday and demanded the clerk open the
safe, CNN reported.
The clerk was unable to open the safe, and a second worker who
arrived on the scene was also unsuccessful, police said.
The robber fired a single bullet as he fled from the store.
