JVP complaint against Bribery chief baseless

The JVPs complaint against Bribery Commission Chairman Jagath Balapatabendi is baseless, devoid of truth, distorted, malicious and also contains inadequate material which do not warrant an investigation according to the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery and Corruption, the sources said.

They said that the need to investigate this complaint which is an attempt to tarnish the image of not only the chairman but that of the Commission as well does not arise.
