AMW rewards top tyre dealers

The prize-giving of the 'Marathon DAG Supiri Chance' promotional
program conducted by the Retreading Tyre Section of Associated Motorways
(AMW) was held at the Mount Lavinia Hotel recently.
AMW Group Managing Director Samantha Rajapakse was present. The first
prize of a Piaggio petrol three-wheeler was clinched by Kithsiri Bandara
of Supiri Tire House (Pvt) Limited, Kandy.
The second and third prizes which were a Yamaha SZX motor-cycle and a
DELL laptop computer were secured by J M D Jeewantha Nishakara of Singha
Tyre Centre, Chilaw and P A P K K Panditharatne of Dilshan Tire House,
Hettipola.
In addition, gold coins and mobile phones were presented as
consolation prizes.
The promotion was held from November 1, 2013 to March 21, 2014 to
recognise the services of Marathon DAG tyre dealers of AMW.
'Marathon Dag' precured tyre was launched by AMW in 2013 and all
retreading tyre sales volumes have been segregated and taken into
account when recognising dealers. AMWs retreading tyre sector recorded a
remarkable sales growth in 2013. |
