"Childhood at its best", one would say seeing this picture on our cover. Nayanahari Abeynayake captured this illusion while children were playing at the Galle coastal beach recently. The beach expresses purity and the mirth of childhood.

Our photographer, Sudam Gunasinghe captured this picture of a brother and sister combination looking through a window of their home and gazing into nowhere as if to say "What does the future hold for us?" in faraway Pujapitiya, a remote village in Mahiyangana.
