Over 300 mt of e-waste collected

Mobitel with the Central Environmental Authority (CEA) and other stakeholders, made a noteworthy contribution to the people and the environment recently when it collected 312 metric tons of electronic waste from the public during National e-Waste Management Week.

Mobitel played a crucial role in collecting discarded and disposable electronic waste at its collection centre in Kandy, during National e-Waste Management Week from May 27 to June 2.

Mobitel will continue to contribute to a safer environment for all Sri Lankans throughout year by collecting e-waste via Mobitel branches islandwide.
