Ministry seminars prior to examination

The Ministry of Education will hold exam-oriented seminars to guide school candidates who sit the G.C.E. (A/L) examination 2014 in August this year.

These seminars would guide students on how to answer properly at the examination and participants would be provided with free model question papers to be answered as a rehearsal prior to the Examination.

The Ministry of Education has prepared model question papers for 10 compulsory subjects and the relevant CDs that contain these model questions were handed over to all the Provincial Directors of Education and they have to distribute question papers to their zonal Directors of Education and school heads.

These conferences will be held from 30 June to 05 July 2014 countrywide.

"School heads of Kurunegala and Puttalam Districts of the NWP have already been informed and all school heads should ensure the participation of students in these examination oriented conferences without fail as they guide students on useful techniques and hints that students should follow", said Director of Education in Kurunegala W.M. Balasooriya at a meeting of sectional heads of Government schools of the Kurunegala District held recently at Kurunegala.
