On arrival visas suspended for others too

The on arrival Visa facility has been cancelled not only for Pakistani nationals but also for a number of other nationals too, an Immigration and Emigration official told the Sunday Observer yesterday, when asked for the reasons for the new rule.

Without revealing the reasons for the suspension of the on arrival visa facility, he said the facilities to obtain visas for foreign nationals, via the Electronic Travel Authorisation (online) and through foreign missions in their countries to visit Sri Lanka is still effective for the countries in question.
