Easy for Cambrians

Prince of Wales College, Moratuwa recorded an easy 74-run win over Anuradhapura Central in their under-17 division one, second round match played at Moratuwa yesterday.

Helped by a solid 50 by Sandun Soysa the Cambrians scored 201 runs, R.P. Dilangasinghe took 3 for 14 for the visitors.

In reply Anuradhapura Central managed only 127 with Praveen Neomal striking a fighting 58 for the Anuradhapura school. Prince Of Wales College 201 in 46.4 overs (Sandun Soysa 50, Thilan Nimesh 31, Kasun Ekanayake 31, R.P. Dilangasinghe 3 for 14).
