Johnians win by 11 runs

St John’s College Panadura beat Kalutara Vidyalaya by 11 runs in their inter-school under-13 Division One second round match played at Panadura. Vidyalians bating first were all out for 95 runs with Sidath Sakvithi capturing 4 for 41 and in reply Johnians made 106 runs and at stumps visitors were 104 for 2.

Chief scores:

Kalutara Vidyalaya: 95 – KCN de Silva 22, DAKL Fernando 23, KHD Madushan 22, Sidath Sakvithi 4/41, Sasitha Manupriya 3/10 and 104/2 – D Fernando 31, S Fernando 26.

St John’s College: 106 – Dehan Upeksha 36, V Herath 19, W Jayatunge 20 n.o, Ashan Dilhara 23, D Fernando 2/19, A Lakshan 2/28.
