That 2013 Tourism Report ...

SL Tourism has reacted to our news report of the Sunday Observer of March 15, headlined 'Tourism Industry lost a golden opportunity' which said that the SLTDA's 2013 Annual Statistical Report had not yet been released.

Director General, SLTDA, Melroy B. Kiriella says in a letter that the Report was already published at the time of our news report.

We acknowledge our error since the 2013 report was indeed released by the SLTDA just over two weeks before our news item. We look forward to the 2014 statistical report being published without the lengthy delay as in the case of the 2013 report.
