Arpico opens three 'Daily' supermarkets

Three new Arpico 'Daily' supermarkets were opened in February, increasing the number of outlets in the chain to 65.

The latest Arpico 'Daily' outlets were opened in Ingiriya, Kandana and Ambalangoda. These outlets are a microcosm of the Arpico shopping experience, representing product diversity, multi-brand choice, ancillary services and wider aisle space that are the hallmark of the larger Arpico Supercentres.

Minister of Public Security, Christian Religious Affairs and Disaster Management, John Amaratunga and Prof. Lakshman R. Watawala, Senior Board Director of Richard Pieris and Co. PLC opened the Arpico Daily supermarket at Kandana, while the opening at Ingiriya and Ambalangoda were attended by senior management and local dignitaries.

All Arpico 'Daily' outlets have space for parking and offer fast moving consumer goods, daily essentials, dairy products, fresh fruits, vegetables, meat and seafood, household items such as kitchenware, glassware and plastic items, toys, stationery, garden products and electronics.
