Cerestar launches gluten-free food

Cerestar (Pvt) Ltd. will introduce Frooti Rings and Wonderstar to the Sri Lankan market soon.

With the efforts in enriching and striving to enhance and develop the current brand Choco Bubbles, the Nutrimate line have now become the only cereal brand in Sri Lanka that is gluten free. The products come in 35g and 200g packs and it is made out of 100% locally grown grains and pulses, mainly rice and corn, with added natural flavours and sweetened with sugar.

Cerestar (Pvt) Ltd continues to build momentum with new product innovations that will be launched by the end of this year.

"Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and it is important that the people have a healthy meal that will help recharge their body, with protein to rebuild and grains for energy," said Chairman, Cerestar, Dharmasiri Alahakoon.

Following the appointment of a new management in 2011, the company changed focus creating nutritious and easy to consume food and brands that help fuel the developing of the mind and body.
